Author Biography

  • Dr Andreas Herberg-Rothe

Dr Andreas Herberg Rothe is an internationally recognised Clausewitz scholar, conducting research in political theory, the theory of war and violence, and engaged in peace studies, and a dialectical thinker at heart. He is adapting Zygmunt Bauman's concept of liquid modernity, which, in his view, is leading to the dissolution of identities worldwide and a fragmentation of communities and the soul. My perspective could be best described by Clausewitz's concept of a floating balance, which is comparable to Confucius’ notion of harmony.
